Imagine travelling back in time to some of the darkest chapters of London’s history. What would you see? Well, on this wander, we’re about to find out... Some of London’s oldest and most historic pubs have stood as silent witnesses to centuries of bloody history – from the gangland world of the Kray twins and the terror of Jack the Ripper, to pirates on the River Thames, public executions, notorious prisons and the brutal justice of medieval London. These are places where deals were struck, crimes were planned, secrets were whispered and history unfolded over a pint. And remarkably, some of them are still serving drinks today. So this time we're doing something a little different. We're combining a London pub crawl with a dark history tour, following the capital's historic old boozers – and the bloody stories surrounding them – backwards through time. Still want to come along?
