Yin & Yang
An autumn evening by the lake. The mist had settled, and the trees appeared behind, shrouded in a light mist. I noticed the lake...
I've been lucky enough to photograph some amazing scenes over the years. But the frozen landscape of Iceland's coastline is one of the most breathtaking I've ever seen.
There is something magical about the first snow of the season and how it lights up the landscape. The snow might be gone in a few days or even hours, but it leaves you open to what is to come.
Winter was almost over after a week of rain. Things were looking dreary, but I still went to my favorite spot to see what the lake looked like. And to my surprise, I saw a man ice fishing on the lake. I knew I had to get higher to get a shot of him, so I flew my drone and was amazed at how the ice looked from above. The patterns on the ice looked like they would soon swallow this poor man whole if he wasn’t careful. I felt lonely as I watched him enjoy the moment.
