30-Year Abandoned House of a Family Who Fled After a Tragedy!
Deep in the French countryside, we found a family home frozen in time, photographs still on the walls, letters still in their drawers, and taxidermy animals silently watching over the rooms. This was the home of the Gaudy family: two teachers, a daughter who lived for ballet, and a son raised in the Catholic tradition, with friendships stretching all the way to Hungary. For years this house was full of life, until the father was shot during a hunting outing. Officially, it was called an accident, but the local rumours never went away. Piecing the story together from what they left behind, we believe the mother couldn't bear to stay, took the children, and left France overnight, abandoning everything exactly as it was. Come inside with us and walk through what remains. (Our reconstruction from the found letters and photographs — not confirmed fact.)
